Parkour, My Passion
2019
Parkour, the art of moving efficiently through urban landscapes, is not about competition but self-improvement and the freedom to carve one's unique path.
Passion and Profession - a balancing or harmonising act? is a documentary series that explores the lives of four individuals who navigate full-time careers and their passionate pursuit of parkour. The project aims to shed light on how they strive to balance or, in some cases, harmonise their passion and profession. Photo-wise, the approach is to create a deliberate visual disconnect by capturing the individuals in their work attire doing parkour.
Inspired by a simulated school brief, this project is designed to feature a series on the theme of Hobbies in Singapore for Straits Times Life. In the following video, Parkour, My Passion, I introduce you to Leonard Chiang by offering a glimpse into his unique journey.
